Jose Gil 'San Vicente de la Sonsierra' 2022

Jose’s village wine made up of several vineyards located in the high part of San Vicente. Soils of silt, limestone and sand amongst others. Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha with a small percentage of Viura and Garnacha Blanca. Harvested by

hand, destemmed. Fermented in concrete and stainless steel tanks.

The wine opens with a taut nose of cranberry, cherry and redcurrant. The palate builds with red fruit, spice, graphite tannins and cranberry acidity, whilst a warmth and savoury edge builds gently under it all. Finishes with a clean mineral flourish and velvety texture, which seems to be a hallmark of this wine.
