Pusole Bianco, Vermentino di Sardegna 2023
Today the Pusole family, formed by the brothers Loredana, Lorenzo and Roberto cultivates in their vineyards, only native grapes, no weeding, no grassing, no irrigation or chemicals or hormones that interfere with the life cycle of the plant. The variety of soils is remarkable, ranging from shale soils rich in clay to soils of alluvial origin that are sandy and rich in stones. In the cellar no use of artifices, only indigenous yeasts and no filtration.
This waxy textural Vermentino is old school in every sense, Mediterranean flavours of preserved lemon, bay and rosemary are pinned together with a saline minerality that makes for a perfect pairing with sea food or Burrata salads!
